Can I ask you a favor?
Sometimes an introduction is the biggest thing you'll ever do for someone.
The best doors rarely open themselves.
trust a recommendation from someone they know more than any advertising.
of workers landed a job through a personal connection.
couples once met through a friend, more than any other way.
longer, relationships last when they start with a trusted referral.
The best things that happen to people, the job, the marriage, the opportunity, almost never arrive cold.
They arrive because someone made an introduction.
It is usually a friend who simply thought of two people who ought to know each other.
An introduction is trust, handed from one person to another.
A good introduction is a favor in both directions. You are helping me, and you are handing a friend something they would want to see.
You don't help one friend. You help two.
And the bar is lower than you picture. I don't expect you to know billionaires, just someone who has done well in their career. We all know an accountant, a lawyer, a dentist, a doctor, a business owner or retiree who has done well.
A couple of names probably just came to mind.
People are almost always glad when a friend shows them something worth a look, something they would never have seen otherwise. That chance is yours to give.
So introduce one person. Or three.
My ask.
Think of one or two people who have done well and might want a look at what I am building. Then make the introduction, and I will take good care of it from there.
